Long Island Chevelles is one of the fastest growing Car Clubs. Serving the areas of Long Island, The New York Metropolitan Area, and The Catskill Region.

Long Island’s Newest Car Club, and Not Just for Chevelles. Long Island Chevelles Accepts membership from all classic Car Enthusiasts with no cut off in date, make, or model.

Everyone is welcome at Long Island Chevelles.

Long Island Chevelles was an idea started by five guys in the New Hyde Park area back in 2004. In January of 2005 the club went public and currently has many members from Nassau, Suffolk, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, Staten Island, Upstate NY, New Jersey, Florida, California, and Tennessee.

Long Island Chevelles boasts having Chuck Hanson as a ‘Life Member’. Chuck is the President of the American Chevelle Enthusiast Society and host of Horsepower TV on The Spike TV Network

Long Island Chevelles is made up of car enthusiasts. Our purpose and goal is to assist enthusiasts in the preservation, restoration, and maintenance of historical vehicles, whether stock or modified.

•Long Island Chevelles welcomes all Classic Automobile enthusiasts with an emphasis on 1964 through 1972 Chevelles and El Caminos. We welcome new memberships (ownership of a Chevelle is not a requirement) and look forward to sharing our experiences and expertise with others.

•Another Club goal is to have fun! Long Island Chevelles will arrange cruises throughout the year, including drag races. We also will attend car shows in and out of state. Long Island Chevelles also encourages the participation of folks who are new to the hobby, including spouses and children.

•The Web site is designed to help keep members up to date on Club business and other activities as well as introduce non-members to the Club, its members and its goals.

•Long Island Chevelles welcomes Show Cars, Drivers, Projects, and Beaters.

•Long Island Chevelles is open to all classic car enthusiasts (ownership of a Chevelle is not a requirement). We currently have a diverse mix of Classic American Automobiles and Trucks.
